Roma Pearson

As a Senior Advisory Director, Roma’s role is to work with Square 4’s Leadership Team to help shape the regulatory strategy and to engage and support clients and other market stakeholders on the evolving regulatory landscape. Roma has extensive regulatory experience providing direction, oversight and assurance on advisory engagements with a particular focus on responsibilities and challenges at executive and board level.

Roma brings over 25 years of regulatory experience, most notably from her tenure at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and its predecessor, the Financial Services Authority. She served in several senior leadership roles leading supervision strategy, policy development and risk management including Director of Consumer Finance, Head of Mortgages & Consumer Lending, Head of Retail General Insurance and Head of Risk Advisory. Her work has consistently focused on ensuring fair treatment of consumers, particularly under the FCA’s Consumer Duty and she is known for her deep insight into UK financial regulation and her ability to translate complex regulatory expectations into practical, outcomes-focused solutions.
